top 10 things i heard on our trip

so we just got back from fort lauderdale, florida. it was a really good time and so nice for us to spend time with just us (something that rarely happens at home). here are the top 10 things that were said that stand out in my mind...

1. "leave her alone!" to both #1 and #2 constantly as they try and maul #3!!

2. "i want pizza!" something we discovered #2 would eat every night if given the choice.

3. "ok... that's enough! give her some space." do i need to explain?

4. "this is the terriblest day!" #1's latest way of complaining that things aren't fair... i think after reading alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

5. "put the game away!" usually towards #1.

6. "daddy can you play mario and i'll watch in bed?" #1's way to get ak to snuggle and to get to stay up later.

7. "EAT YOUR FOOD!" to #2 at every meal that didn't involve pizza or honey nut cheerios.

8. "can we get a ben 10 today?" #1 and #2 both see nothing wrong with this as a daily activity.

9. "can you pass me the nursing cover?" me to ak whenever #3 went into a major crying spell in public.

10. "shhh...you have to be quiet in the halls. people might be sleeping!" me to #1, 2 and 3 every time we walked to or from our room.
