a few more layouts

just a couple more layouts from Christmas this year.
our stockings, hung by the chimney with care...

an annual Christmas party we have with some family friends of ours.

and another challenge for ASB. this time we had to start with a finished 6x6 page and turn it into a 12x12 page without making it look like it was just dropped on there. i took it from a 6x6 to an 8.5x11 and then finally to a 12x12. this technique is called a progressive page.

cruisin' with susan

so... we are going on a cruise in 3 days. both andy and i have never been on one and we both are a little hesitant about the whole thing. maybe it is because we are going with a big group through a radio station here in town, maybe it is because we have never left the kiddos with g&g for a weekend, let alone a whole week, maybe it is the whole boat thing. none the less, i have not even started to pack. i am excited, i really am! once we get everything organized with the grandparents, i am sure i will relax and have a good time. one thing i have done to get ready is picked a couple of books to read in my uninterrupted time. looking forward to that part for sure.

look what i can do!

it wasn't even that hard. i just needed some time when the kids were asleep and i was not scrapbooking! glad i can finally figure this thing out...

all i want for Christmas...

Love, Elsie- love the colors and look...needed to use it somehow... so i made a mini album with little pockets that hold tags. on each tag I wrote one of the top 10 gifts our family recieved this year and what we liked about it. i thought it would be fun to look back and see what we thought was cool in a bunch of years from now.

bloggin

I have got to get better at this blogging thing. I am taking more pictures of my work now and uploading them to my ASB gallery. Now I just have to get them on here.
