Halfway through the process of the calendars, I wasn't too sure of them... so I decided on a back up plan. Organic soaps wrapped in greaseproof paper and then decorated with Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers. Love those colors!
Both the calendars and the soap turned out OK, so the preschool teachers got lucky this year and got two handmade gifts!
I thought I would make the preschool teachers a little desktop calendar for Christmas this year. Wasn't sure how they would turn out, but it was kind of fun to make. Using my Autumn Leaves messy dates stamps and a calendar stamp from SU, I threw it all together. Lots of ink and distressing. October Afternoon stamps along the side. And of course bound together using my Bind-It-All.
Scored chipboard, velcro dots and bookbinding tape were used to make the calendar be able to stand on its own.
